There has been a lot of talk about same sex marriage since the Supreme Court's decision to make it legal in all 50 States. I am thrilled that the court, in my opinion, did the right thing. I understand there are those who disagree, but I have too many family and friends affected by discrimination against LGBTQ to feel any other way. Even though San Diego is a fairly progressive town compared to a lot of other places in America, we still have a long way to go for total equality.
There's also been a lot of controversy over wedding vendors refusing services to same sex couples based solely on the customer being LGBTQ. I have been the DJ for many same sex weddings over the years and I will continue to serve clients based on my ability to do an awesome job at their event, and based on my client's trust that I'm the right Disc Jockey for the job. The only reason I've turned down clients is when I've felt I was not the best DJ for the job. I've never discriminated and never will.
